Chasson

The applicant has filed an application to the County of Grey (File No. 42T-2007-14) to subdivide the lands into 8 new single detached residential lots and one large open space block.  The original Draft Plan included the existing dwelling, garage, pool and yard as the ninth lot, however, based on discussions with the applicant, he has filed a  redlined plan to the County to remove the lands from the Plan and consider them to be “other lands owned by the applicant” or remnant lands.  The proposed open space block adjacent to the Georgian Trail would be dedicated to the municipality for open space purposes. The proposed Access and servicing to the proposed development is proposed from a new public street to be constructed as part of the Eden Oak Plan of Subdivision.

The proposed Plan of Subdivisions is located south of the intersection of Lakeshore Road east and Highway 26.  The Georgian Trail abuts the property to the north and the proposed Eden Oak Plan of Subdivision abuts the lands to the east, west and south.  The Craigleith sewage pump station is located to the north of the Georgian Trail and other single detached lots are located in the general vicinity of the subject lands.
