Why is there an Open House being held?

The Open House is being held as an opportunity for the public to see and better understand what is being proposed by the Developer.

What is the Town's role in the Open House?

The Town circulated the Open House invitation on the Developer's behalf to ensure circulation in line with the Town's standards. The Open House is not being hosted by the Town and the Town will not be presenting at the Open House.

Where is the proposal in the approvals process? 

The Developer submitted a Development Application in 2006 that was refused. The Developer appealed that refusal. Until recently, the Developer's pursuit of that appeal has been dormant. 

How does this relate to the Town's ongoing study for servicing the Hidden Lake Road area?

The Town is currently evaluating technical servicing information provided by the Developer to determine any potential impact on the Town's Hidden Lake Environmental Assessmetnt.
