As a weekend only facility, the Blue Mountains Curling Centre (BMCC) will be affordable for both the new and occasional curler. The group envisions BMCC acting as a complement to the active Membership of the Curling Clubs in the surrounding region as they will offer lots of practice time and a chance for an extra game each week.

Annual Fee: $250.00 (includes HST and membership in the OCA and CCA)

For more information or to obtain a membership, please contact:

A great deal of ice time is devoted to encouraging the newcomer/novice to get out and participate (Daily Open Draw Jitney Curling, Curling 101-Clinics, Student programs and Group events).

JITNEY: is a local term used to describe an open draw where curlers sign up for a game and teams are selected randomly using a pegboard system. Every Friday and Saturday morning a Jitney draw will be available to all BMCC members and their guests.

CURLING 101: For the month of November, every Saturday will feature a 1 hour introduction to Curling for beginners. This program may be extended through the season depending on demand.

PRACTICE ICE TIME: Sheet 4 will be available for 1 hour practice sessions throughout most of the weekend.

LEAGUE PLAY: League play for traditional teams and mixed doubles will be established and available on Friday and Saturday evenings in accordance with the demand.

KIDS PROGRAM: Ice time has been set aside every Friday through the season.

COMMUNITY GROUPS: A number of 3 hour blocks of time have been set aside throughout the season to accommodate participation by community groups

BONSPIELS: Once established and operational we will look to include a number of single day and weekend Charity Bonspiels with an eye towards a possible week long OCA or CCA sanctioned Event.
